As part of the Policy and Self Determination department, you will assist in the effective operation of MNLA and PMC committees, ensuring that meetings are well-organized and documented. Your role will involve extensive collaboration with elected officials and stakeholders to facilitate decision-making and uphold Métis traditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide policy and procedural advisory support
• Research and analyze legislative resolutions
• Prepare agendas and coordinate meeting logistics
• Document meeting proceedings and follow up actions
• Maintain accurate committee records and files
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in public administration or governance
• 2-3 years in legislative services or policy roles
• Experience with meeting coordination and documentation
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities
