Role Overview
The Learning Partner acts as a strategic advisor and consultant to business leaders, partnering with departments to identify capability gaps, translate business needs into learning solutions, and ensure training initiatives drive measurable performance outcomes.Key Accountabilities
Business Partnership & Needs Analysis
Partner with leaders and managers to understand business objectives, performance challenges, and capability gapsConduct learning needs analysisTranslate business priorities into targeted, scalable learning strategiesCo‑design learning solutions aligned to business goals (e.G., blended learning, on‑the‑job learning, coaching, digital content)Ensure learning initiatives align with organizational competency frameworks and talent strategiesCollaborate with instructional designers, facilitators, and external vendors as neededProgram Oversight & Implementation
Support the rollout and adoption of learning initiatives within the businessCoordinate with Learning Specialists or external facilitators to ensure effective deliveryMonitor participation, engagement, and completion ratesEnsure programs are practical, accessible, and aligned with operational realitiesMeasurement & Continuous Improvement
Define success metrics and evaluate learning effectivenessGather feedback and analyze impact on performance and capabilityUse insights to continuously improve learning offerings and approachesProvide clear, data‑driven reporting to stakeholdersKey Capabilities & Skills
Strong consultative and business partnering skillsAbility to link learning solutions to business outcomesExcellent stakeholder management and influencing skillsUnderstanding of adult learning principles and up-to-date L&D; practicesStrong communication, facilitation, and presentation skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a quick‑paced environmentQualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field5 years+ of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, or a related fieldExperience working directly with business leaders in a consulting or partnering capacityFamiliarity with competency frameworks, leadership development, and performance managementExperience in blended learning settings (classroom, virtual, digital, on‑the‑job)
