This fixed-term Optical Associate role requires working 30-40 hours per week until November 1, 2027. You will greet patients, educate them on eyewear choices, and interpret optical prescriptions. Providing fitting adjustments and managing appointments are essential parts of this position, all while ensuring a welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and manage inquiries via various channels
• Educate patients on eyewear tailored to lifestyles
• Perform frame and facial measurements for optimal fit
• Manage patient billing,



payments, and insurance coordination
• Support clinic operations with additional duties as required
Requirements:
• Previous optical or retail experience is an asset
• Proficiency with technology and MS Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting
• Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player
