In this role, you will be responsible for performing abdominal, pelvic, and soft tissue ultrasounds, ensuring patient safety and adherence to relevant guidelines. The job requires effective communication with clinic staff and accurate documentation of each examination.
A robust understanding of PACS will help maintain organizational standards in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct ultrasound scans according to regulatory guidelines
Enter patient data into the imaging system
Gather and verify medical histories prior to procedures
Ensure documentation for each scan is complete
Maintain a clean and compliant workspace
Requirements:
Completion of an accredited sonography program
Active registration with Sonography Canada
Experience in trans-abdominal and abdominal as well as pelvic scans
CPR and WHMIS certifications are advantageous
Ability to operate independently and within a rapid-paced team
