PositionThurber has an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Construction Materials Engineer to join our team in Calgary, Alberta.Thurber provides geotechnical, environmental and construction materials engineering and testing services for a variety of industries across Canada. Our multidisciplinary expertise allows us to work on problems related to earth, the environment and construction materials, including transportation, building construction, municipal infrastructure, land development, dams and water resources, industrial development, mining, oil and gas, marine and environmental services.ResponsibilitiesManage and execute condition assessments, rehabilitation, and repair of existing infrastructure, including formulation of repair strategies for bridge structures, parkades, industrial facilities, and other structuresMass concrete thermal mitigation designNon‑destructive evaluation of reinforced concreteService life and durability evaluationManage the design and review of conventional and specialty concrete mixesProvide engineering and technical support for QC and QA testing and inspection servicesManage and carry out field monitoring of construction worksPrepare technical reports, including technical specifications, design reports,
