This part time, permanent role involves 28 hours per week from Friday to Monday. You will work closely with the Animal Centre Manager to implement the BC SPCA’s Five Freedoms in your daily care routine. If you are enthusiastic and resourceful, this position is perfect for you to contribute to animal welfare.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the facility is clean and sanitary
• Manage kennels and cages for optimal animal care
• Track animal health and perform welfare monitoring
• Feed, exercise, and enrich the lives of animals
• Groom and bathe animals humanely
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Valid Class N or 5 BC Driver’s License required
• Strong service orientation and adaptability
• Background in animal care is a plus
• Physically capable to perform essential duties
