High-Impact Hunter Sales Role in Transportation – Build New Business Across Intermodal, LTL & TL Markets
Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Transportation Sales Executive in the logistics sector in Concord, Ontario. We're working with our client to hire a Load Broker Sales Representative who will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing shipper relationships, and providing transportation solutions across North America. This person will identify customer freight needs, negotiate pricing, coordinate transportation services with carrier partners, and manage accounts to drive revenue growth and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate new business through cold calling, outreach, and referrals
- Develop and present tailored transportation solutions and proposals
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close profitable deals
- Manage and maintain client relationships with limited account management focus
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service execution
Successful candidates will have
- 5+ years of sales experience in transportation including freight brokerage (preferably Intermodal LTL/FTL)
- Possess strong hunter mentality with a focus on net-new revenue generation
- Show expertise in intermodal, LTL, and full truckload services
- Exhibit strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
- Be comfortable with CRM systems like Salesforce and outbound prospecting strategies
- Experience using load boards like DAT and Truckstop, or similar platforms
