Finning Canada is seeking a skilled Field Heavy Duty Mechanic to support the Tahltan Nation Development Corporation. Join us on a 14 x 14 shift rotation, focusing on CAT equipment repairs.

Your role will involve troubleshooting and extensive repairs of various Caterpillar machines, including Rock Trucks and dozers. We seek candidates with significant experience and a passion for mechanical work within active mining environments. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough diagnostics and repairs on Caterpillar equipment
• Manage large-scale overhauls and component replacements
• Use Caterpillar SIS and ET for daily operations




• Document all technical procedures and client communications
• Work closely with the Finning team and clients for effective service

Requirements:
• Heavy Equipment Technician Certification (Interprovincial)
• Clean driver’s license with recent abstract
• Over 10 years of mechanical experience on heavy equipment
• Familiarity with Caterpillar mining products
• Ability to pass necessary fitness tests and site access requirements
