Looking for a Mother’s Helper – Halifax Hi! I’m looking for a warm, caring, and reliable mother’s helper to help with my two children: a 4-month-old baby and an almost-3-year-old toddler. The schedule would be Monday–Wednesday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM, on an ongoing basis for approximately 3 months. I’ll be home during the hours, but I’m looking for someone who can help take some of the childcare load off me so I can rest, shower, eat, run an occasional errand, or simply have a little time to myself. You may help with things like playing with my toddler, holding/entertaining the baby, helping with meals/snacks, and keeping the children engaged while I take a break. This is not a full time nanny position—I’m looking for a mother’s helper who is comfortable working independently while I’m nearby. Ideal candidate:




- Warm, patient, caring, and dependable
- Comfortable with both infants and toddlers
- Previous childcare, babysitting, daycare, or parenting experience is preferred
- Comfortable working independently while I rest nearby
- Available consistently Monday–Wednesday, 9 AM–1 PM
