SOUTHLAND is seeking a Journeyperson Mechanic, whether Heavy Duty or Automotive, to enhance our team in Edmonton. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including diagnosing equipment problems and executing preventive maintenance inspections. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform ongoing maintenance and repair of school buses
• Diagnose equipment issues accurately
• Conduct CVIP inspections as required
• Execute preventive maintenance checks effectively
• Respond promptly to road call breakdowns
Requirements:
• Journeyperson Mechanic ticket in Heavy Duty or Automotive
• 2-5 years of related experience
• Valid class 5 driver’s license; class 2 or 3 is an asset
• Own hand tools and computer proficiency
• Robust analytical and troubleshooting skills
