OverviewTK Elevator is a leading elevator and elevator‑related service provider that serves customers in more than 100 countries and achieved €9billion in sales in fiscal year†‣2/2023.The company’s core business is the service of elevators, escalators, moving walks, and other vertical transportation systems, supported by a network of about 1,000 locations and more than 25,000 technicians.TK Elevator is independent, was separated from thyssenkrupp in August†‣02, and offers integrated cloud‑based solutions such as the MAX platform to enhance service.ResponsibilitiesReview bid documents, contracts, terms & conditions, and change orders.Negotiate and approve contractual terms within delegated thresholds.Manage the full contracting process from review to execution and close‑out.Advise internal teams and customers on contractual rights and obligations.Drive the preparation, pricing, negotiation, and approval of change orders.Issue service suspensions, demand letters, cure notices, and other formal notices.Coordinate AR recovery with Finance and branches; contact delinquent customers to discuss payment options.Calculate amounts owing, markups, and negotiate payment arrangements.Mediate disputes between branches, contractors, and customers.Manage liens, bond applications, insurance certificates, and related security instruments.File necessary documents for lien or bankruptcy‑related recovery.Support dispute resolution, including documentation, negotiations, and arbitration meetings.Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and engineers to ensure contract compliance.Educate internal staff on contract requirements,
risks, and legislative or policy changes.Participate in weekly calls with branches and Finance to review escalated accounts.Perform other related duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.5+ years of experience in contract management, commercial management, risk management, or related field.Strong knowledge of contract terms, change orders, liens, bonding, and commercial risk.Experience negotiating commercial agreements with customers and contractors.Ability to read, interpret, and analyze contractual language and technical documents.Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with cross‑functional teams.High attention to detail and robust organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and contract tracking tools.Experience in construction, industrial services, or technical project environments (asset).BenefitsTotal compensation range$100,000to$115,000Company pensionDental careDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programExtended health careLife insuranceOn‑site parkingPaid time offVision careBonus plans for all positionsWellness ProgramEEO StatementTK Elevator is an equal‑opportunity employer and committed to diversity.
