Ensure a secure shopping experience as a Loss Prevention Lead at SportChek. Your proactive approach will safeguard customers and employees while executing the Loss Prevention Program effectively.
In this key role, you will report to the Store General Manager and be instrumental in minimizing losses both internally and externally. You'll establish a solid presence on the sales floor during peak hours and ensure that the store meets all Loss Prevention tagging standards for high-value products, while also coaching staff on acknowledgement responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Loss Prevention presence during high-risk hours
• Ensure product security following LP standards




• Log incidents and communicate with Regional Loss Prevention Manager
• Coach associates on Loss Prevention protocols
• Acknowledge and assist customers throughout the store
Requirements:
• 6+ months of retail experience preferred
• 12+ months in Loss Prevention or security roles
• Experience training and mentoring staff
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid CPR & First Aid training required
