As Legal Counsel, you will directly influence business outcomes by guiding contract strategy, mitigating risk, and supporting impactful projects that shape communities nationwide.Your ImpactProvide legal support for the negotiation, drafting, and interpretation of complex contracts across ERI and E&E; sectorsDeliver timely, practical legal advice to project teams throughout the full project lifecycleAdvise internal stakeholders on legal, commercial, and risk‑related mattersDraft and review legal documents, including contract templates and client agreementsSupport bid processes by reviewing RFPs and contributing to service proposalsAssess project risks and present findings to internal risk committees for approvalEnsure compliance with corporate governance, policies, and applicable laws and regulationsCollaborate with Claims & Litigation teams on disputes and contractual mattersThe Skills That Set You ApartMember in valuable standing of a Canadian provincial Bar with minimum 3 years’ experienceProven experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements in construction and/or engineering environmentsStrong understanding of risk management and business fundamentalsExperience with major project delivery models (EPCM, design‑build, partnerships) is an assetExcellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex legal conceptsStrong analytical, organizational,
