Internal Title: Risk IV

Manage procedures and work instructions related to risk and opportunity management in construction management of Large Capital Infrastructure programs/projects

Provide risk management services, including the development and maintenance of Risk Management Plans (RMPs), risk governance frameworks, and supporting processes for project delivery of a large rail transit program

Perform risk management activities, including risk identification, coordination, qualitative and quantitative risk analysis, risk assessment, mitigation planning, monitoring, control, and ongoing maintenance of project risk registers for a large rail transit program

Prepare and maintain risk-related reports, dashboards, analyses, and performance metrics to support project governance, decision-making, and monthly project reporting

Develop a risk breakdown structure aligned with project WBS and CBS

Design the human and material resources required to complete risk management services on a project successfully

Prepare Risk training materials and train the team on the principle of Risk Management

Forecast market trends in risk management and collaborate with Risk V to implement process improvements or efficiencies

Provide technical support to the management of project risk through the facilitation of regular risk reviews at the project and program level

Maintain risk registers at the project and program level

Perform quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis using risk management software (like Oracle Primavera Risk Analysis, Acumen Risk, etc.) and provide the interpretation of analysis results (like Distribution S Curve Graph, Sensitivity Analysis Tornado Chart)

Establish detailed project and program risk reports including P50 and P80 cost and schedule risk exposures

Clarify with risk owners that mitigation actions are on track

Ensure compliance with the risk management plan, procedures, and requirements of the assigned scope of work by all program team members

Review contractor progress reports and identify the risks impacting project cost and schedule and reflect them in the risk register, while working closely with the team and stakeholders

Liaise with scheduling to prepare high-level schedules (or assess detailed schedules) to be used for quantitative schedule risk analysis and define the link between risks, duration uncertainties, and schedule activities

Collaborate with cost to monitor project contingency utilization and alignment with cost risk exposures

Provide input for project and program-level reporting

Authorize related work and control the delivery of the project per the project plan

Monitor staff performance to ensure excellence and adherence to specified deadlines

Clarify and resolve internal quality control checks and issues for the project

Define risk management success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project and program life cycle

Recommend and manage project and program risk management expectations while delegating and managing deliverables with team members and stakeholders

Experience

Minimum of 8 years of experience in Risk Management in Large Capital Infrastructure programs/Projects,



Rail Transit Projects

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

Licenses OR Certifications

Holding recognized certifications including RMP® - Risk Management Professional

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

Strong understanding of prevailing Risk Management methods in construction management of Large Capital Infrastructure programs and projects

Extensive knowledge of tools and metrics needed to evaluate project performance

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office

Mastery of Risk Management software Active Risk Manager (ARM), Oracle Primavera Risk Analyzer (OPRA), Acumen Risk, etc.

Proficient in Primavera P6, Acumen Fuse and MS Project

Must maintain professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practices

Ability to arrange priorities and elevate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadership

Keen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilities

Expert ability to work collaboratively and independently in a structured, disciplined, technology-driven environment

Effectively leads multi-resource risk teams

Expert ability to detect and capitalize on others' strengths

Demonstrated capability to supervise, delegate, and develop capacity
