Join Ledcor's Utilities team as a Journeyperson Power Line Technician in Ontario. Experience in both underground and overhead power distribution is essential for this role, showcasing your skill in construction and maintenance.

In this position, you'll be involved in building and maintaining powerlines, ensuring secure installations, and operating specialized equipment. Qualified candidates should possess Journeyman certification or be enrolled in an apprenticeship program, along with 1-3 years' experience in powerline construction.

Key Responsibilities:
• Construct and maintain power distribution systems overhead and underground
• Operate bucket trucks, trenchers, and other specialized equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair distribution powerlines




• Read construction drawings and schematics
• Promote strict safety practices and adhere to OH&S; standards

Requirements:
• Journeyman Powerline Technician certification or apprenticeship enrollment
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in powerline construction
• Ability to climb poles and operate aerial lifts
• Class 5 driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 preferred)
• Physically capable of working at heights in varying conditions
