We are looking for smart, motivated claims professionals to join our mission to provide exceptional customer experiences to Canadians.At Max, we offer the chance to:Join an energetic and rapidly growing team, with excellent flexibility & benefitsCreate real impact through integration of your expertise into the claims processUse industry leading technology to deliver the best possible claims experiences to policyholdersJOB SUMMARYMax Insurance is looking for an exceptional Senior Field Claims Adjuster to help drive excellence in our claims function for moderate to highly complex residential property claims.To offer our policyholders a fast and positive customer experience, we use proprietary systems that have streamlined and automated many of the legacy inefficiencies in the claims process.Our adjusters will have access to tools never seen in the industry before, all focused on making the claims process easier so that our customers can get back on their feet faster.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESInvestigate, evaluate, analyze, negotiate, and settle residential property claims through on-site inspections in accordance with Max Insurance’s claims procedures and guidelinesConduct thorough field inspections of damaged properties to assess cause, scope, and extent of lossReview all relevant policy wordings and acts to determine coverage, damages, and liabilityMaintain ongoing communication and status updates to customers until file closureDetermine appropriate settlement amount based on independent judgment, Xactimate estimates, contractor estimates,
