We are seeking a Classroom Supervisor (Unqualified Teacher) for the Waterloo Catholic District School Board to support classrooms from September to June. This role is perfect for aspiring educators or those with relevant experience.
In this energetic position, you will provide immediate classroom coverage in the absence of qualified teachers. Working collaboratively with school staff, you will contribute to a safe and engaging learning environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with classroom management and promoting student engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Replace absent teachers on short notice
• Supervise students ensuring safety and engagement
• Implement classroom management strategies effectively




• Work with staff to follow routines and safety protocols
• Handle individual student needs with confidentiality
Requirements:
• Roman Catholic Baptismal Certificate necessary
• Preference for students in Education programs
• Experience with children aged 3-18 preferred
• Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills
• Requirement for a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Background Check
