As the Senior Staff Accountant you will work with the managers and partners and be responsible for completing year-end files and tax returns, and delivering high quality services.

Your responsibilities:

Actively participate in preparing financial statement, Review of Compilation Engagements, Review Engagement and Audit files in an efficient manner with minimal Partner involvement.

Preparation and review of Corporate and Personal income tax returns.

Ability to research accounting, auditing and income tax issues

Excellent customer service skills as this position will require extensive client contact

COMPETENCIES AND CHARACTERISTICS

CPA designation

At least 2 year of work experience in public practice as a CPA

Very proficient in Caseware, Caseview, Profile and Microsoft Excel





Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Strong analytical and research skills in accounting.

Strong communication skills and time management skills.

Effective communicator both written and verbal.

Effective - ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure.

Accountable – take responsibility of client deadlines and goals; and highly organized and Effective.

Highly organized and Efficient.

Knowledge of US tax is an asset.
