As the Senior Associate - Supply Chain Services, you will be responsible for performing project based specialized wire cutting applications and/or value-added services within the warehouse such as subsequent manufacturing and assembling ready to install products. This includes operating a cutting machine to cut, prepare, and ship specialized wire, cable, and related materials specific to customer orders.

Shift: Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

A Day in The Life of a Senior Associate
As the Senior Associate - Supply Chain Services, you will be responsible for performing project based specialized wire cutting applications and/or value-added services within the warehouse such as subsequent manufacturing and assembling ready to install products. This includes: operating a cutting machine to cut, prepare, and ship specialized wire, cable, and related materials specific to customer orders.

Perform technical warehouse tasks related to assigned projects (i.e. - advanced kitting, cabinet builds, rack builds, IP addressing, contractor services, etc.)

Operate wire cutting machinery to prepare project based specialized wire and cable cuts for shipment

Perform value added services specific to customer orders (i.e. - subsequent manufacturing, assembling, insta-reels, parallels, speedpulls, striping, dying, printing, etc.)

Load, unload, and move material in a safe manner manually or by using a forklift or other approved device

Complete paperwork, documentation, and data input in accordance with established procedures

Education & Experience

High school degree or equivalent required

3 years of warehouse and distribution operations experience

6 months to 1 year minimum of forklift experience

Skills & Requirements

Experience with specialized wire cutting

Ability to operate machinery and use hand tools

Forklift Certification strongly preferred; the ability to obtain a forklift certification is required

Knowledge of electrical, construction or mechanical products preferred

Project coordination skills

Attention to detail

Ability to work in a team environment

Ability to follow direction

Basic computer skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, be on your feet for extended periods and climb ladders
