Analyze tenants’ needs and validate technical feasibility
Produce and review complete construction drawings in AutoCAD
Participate in the bidding process, including analyzing bids, preparing estimates, and negotiating costs
Be present on site
Issue site instructions
Coordinate professionals through to project delivery
Contribute to commercial fit-out, building construction, and building envelope rehabilitation projects
Handle technical coordination, estimating, and site supervision
Collaborate with the team and the department director to ensure project success
Requirements Required education: Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Architecture
Practical experience in the architecture field in Canada
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD
Excellent understanding of buildings and building envelopes
Ability to coordinate multiple disciplines
Comfortable contributing to estimates, reviewing bids, and monitoring construction sites
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
Occasional travel to construction sites, including locations as far as the Bas-Saint-Laurent region
