Make an impact at the Resort Municipality of Whistler as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor at Meadow Park Sports Centre. This varied role includes pool supervision, swim teaching, and ensuring outstanding service for all guests.
The casual position offers flexible schedule reaching up to 80 per bi-weekly period. Successful candidates will need current NL (pool), Swim For Life Swim Instructor, First Aid, and CPR-C certifications. Strong understanding of aquatic safety and the ability to communicate effectively are paramount for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure pool safety monitoring at all times
• Instruct swim lessons across various ages
• Provide first aid support when required
• Help with pool facility setups and clean-ups
• Offer positive experiences for sports centre guests
Requirements:
• Lifeguard/Swim Instructor certifications are mandatory
• Understanding of aquatic procedures and safety
• Strong instructional communication abilities
• Ability to juggle several responsibilities
• Pass a Police Information Check before employment
