Join the healthcare team at Bayview Memorial Health Centre as an Activities Aide. Your role will enhance the daily lives of residents through engaging activities and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

As a permanent part time Activities Aide, you will report to the Manager and support the Recreation Therapist in implementing activity plans. Your performance will contribute valuable feedback to enhance the resident care plans. Prior experience in Recreation Therapy is preferable, alongside your passion for event planning and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Charge Nurse on patient activity plans
• Assist in the execution of various programs and activities




• Provide feedback to the interdisciplinary team on resident engagement
• Engage residents in recreational activities and events
• Maintain a supportive environment for seniors and those with dementia

Requirements:
• Grade 12 education required
• Previous experience in Recreation Therapy preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for event and activity planning
• Competency in French is an asset
