Located in Halifax, IWK Health is seeking an Administrative Assistant III in the Cardiology department. You will provide vital administrative and organizational support, handling surgeon schedules, patient files, and coordinating surgeries with families and departments. The role emphasizes strong communication and problem-solving skills, ensuring smooth operations in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate surgeon schedules using Outlook
• Maintain and organize patient care files




• Schedule patient surgeries and liaise with families
• Provide academic and research support
• Facilitate travel arrangements and meeting minutes

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
• Office Administration diploma preferred
• Minimum two years of clinical administrative experience
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office and Outlook required
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required
