Support student transport in the Fraser Lake area as a Casual Bus Driver with School District No. 91 (Nechako Lakes). This casual role involves driving buses on routes and ensuring student safety.
School District No. 91 is seeking Casual Bus Drivers to assist with student transportation. Candidates should have a valid BC Class 2 Driver’s License and experience operating Class 2 vehicles. The role includes conducting vehicle inspections and maintaining open communication with students and parents throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate buses on scheduled routes for transportation
• Transport students for curricular and extracurricular activities
• Conduct daily inspections of the buses
• Maintain positive communication with students and parents
Requirements:
• Grade 12 completion (Dogwood Certificate)
• Valid BC Class 2 Driver’s License with air brake endorsement
• First Aid Certificate and CPR training
• WHMIS 2015 Certificate and WorkSafeBC knowledge
• At least 6 months of experience driving Class 2 vehicles
