Job Description
Responsible for collecting, assessing, and accurately entering relevant dietary information into Computrition menu system to support the provision of patient-specific meals in accordance with prescribed diet orders. This role serves as a key liaison between food services, nursing units, patients, and Clinical Dietitians to ensure the effective delivery of nutritional care. Additional responsibilities include entering diet orders, allergy information, and meal preferences into the Computrition system.

Qualifications





Food and Nutrition services diploma from an approved college and/or University degree in Food and Nutritional Sciences/Human Nutrition

Candidates with a Food and Nutrition Management Diploma mustbeactive member with Canadian Society Nutrition Management (CSNM)

1 year experience working in a diet office in a hospital environment, preferred

Solid Computer skills (MS Office, Meditech or comparable software) required

Familiar with Foodservice Diet Office Operating Systems (Computrition or comparable)

Clinical nutrition knowledge in the management of disease

Proven ability to independently manage priorities and exercise strong decision-making skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated ability to function in a team environment

Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position

Employment and attendance record in good standing

The ideal candidate is strong in patient centered care in a agile, rapidly changing environment and should be ready to drive change and innovation. We require a person with good communication skills with a clear patient focus with the ability to manage execution and to foster teamwork and cooperation.

Additional Information
Status : Temporary Full-time (Approx. 21 months)

Hours : Monday to Sunday - Various rotating 8 and 12 hour shifts; 0500-1700 hrs, 0600-1800 hrs, 1100-1900 hrs (Hours are subject to change based on operational needs)

Salary :



$28.001 to $34.975 per hour
