Key Responsibilities:
• Report and create engaging news stories for broadcast
• Shoot and edit video content for CKWS News
• Research, pitch, and pursue unique local stories
• Cover breaking news with live reporting and content
• Network with local contacts for news gathering
Requirements:
• Relevant post-secondary education in journalism
• Experience with video editing and shooting
• Strong news writing and communication skills
• Ability to meet demands under tight deadlines
• Class “G” driver’s license with a clean abstract required
