Join School District No. 91 as a Casual Learning Support Worker in Fort St. James. Support students with diverse needs and engage in school teams every shift.
This casual position requires collaboration with school staff to tailor educational programs for individual students or groups. As a Learning Support Worker, you will advocate for students and contribute to their educational journey. No guaranteed hours are provided, making flexibility key for applicants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support individual student needs alongside school staff
• Assist with delivering regular or alternative education programs
• Participate in school-based teams to advocate for students
• Collaborate on therapeutic or individualized learning strategies
• Maintain a positive learning workplace
Requirements:
• Completed Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)
• Education Assistant Certificate program
• Minimum 6 months of experience with children/youth
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License with clean record
• WHMIS 2015 Certificate and WorkSafeBC familiarity
