As a School Age Childcare Program Leader, you will implement diverse recreational and educational programs. Your role includes supervising members, mentoring Activity Leaders, and interacting with families. This part-time position also provides opportunities for paid professional development, ensuring a rewarding experience while working.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and oversee quality educational programming
• Supervise children to ensure their health and safety
• Guide and mentor Activity Leaders in their roles
• Foster relationships with children and their families
• Utilize Club vans for member transportation if necessary
Requirements:
• Relevant education or experience in childcare
• At least one year of related experience
• First Aid Certificate and Food Protected certification or willingness to obtain
• Class 5 Driver’s Licence with intent to acquire Class 4
• Meet minimum age requirement of 19 years
