In this RPN position, you will be part of a 20-bed inpatient unit, specializing in dementia care within an acute hospital environment. Your work will help stabilize patients, promoting their transition to long-term care or rehabilitation facilities. An emphasis on teamwork, compassion, and innovative care approaches is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver care to patients with complex mental health needs
• Engage in the recovery model of patient care
• Work collaboratively within an interprofessional team




• Conduct patient assessments and manage care documentation
• Assist in the stabilization and treatment of dementia behaviors

Requirements:
• Licensed with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• CPR-Health Care Provider certification required
• Experience in psychiatric nursing preferred
• Familiarity with CNO standards and related legislation
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
