Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic, commercially driven Store Manager to lead our Livestock Bute St. location in a fast-paced, lifestyle and fashion-focused retail environment. This role is accountable for the overall performance and success of the store, with ownership across sales, customer experience, people leadership, operational execution, and commercial results.
As both a leader and an active presence on the sales floor, you will lead and develop a high-performing team while delivering an exceptional customer experience yourself. You will drive key business KPIs, maintain the premium visual standards that define Livestock, and build a strong store culture rooted in product knowledge, community, and performance. As the senior leader in the store, you will take full ownership of developing your team, building future leaders, and identifying opportunities to grow the business within your local community.
Key Responsibilities Store Leadership & Team Development Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team with a strong focus on engagement, accountability, and results
Build a strong talent pipeline by identifying, developing, and preparing top performers for future leadership opportunities
Recruit, onboard, train, and develop new and newly promoted team members in partnership with the People & Culture and Talent Acquisition teams




Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management to support individual and team success
Create a positive, inclusive, and high-performance store culture that reflects Livestock's values and commitment to exceptional experiences
Develop effective weekly schedules and delegate daily priorities to ensure the team is positioned to meet business needs
Lead by example and remain actively engaged on the sales floor, supporting both customers and team members as needed
Make sound, business-critical decisions and confidently lead the store in a fast-paced environment
Take ownership of overall store sales performance and lead the team to achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets
Develop and execute strategies to drive sales, conversion, and customer engagement while maintaining company standards
Deliver exceptional customer experiences through strong product knowledge, genuine customer engagement, and an understanding of current trends and culture
Build a strong community culture through meaningful customer relationships and local engagement
Monitor business performance and identify opportunities to improve sales, productivity, and the overall customer experience
Maintain strong knowledge of current and upcoming product releases, trends, and brand initiatives, ensuring this expertise is shared across the team
Lead and support local events, activations, and community initiatives while ensuring alignment with company and brand standards
Store Operations & Commercial Excellence Take full ownership of day-to-day store operations, ensuring consistent execution across inventory, merchandising, visual presentation, and operational standards
Drive commercial performance through effective inventory management, stock optimization, and identification of in-store growth opportunities
Ensure the store’s visual presentation consistently meets the standards established by the head office team
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, health and safety requirements,



and loss prevention standards
Oversee accurate and timely biweekly payroll submissions for the store team
Performance & Business Results Take full accountability for achieving store sales, operational, and people performance targets
Analyze business data and trends to identify opportunities, solve problems, and make informed commercial decisions
Continuously evaluate and improve in-store strategies while maintaining alignment with company standards and priorities
Establish clear expectations and hold the leadership and store team accountable for delivering results
Partner with Support Office teams to execute key business initiatives and drive continuous improvement
Demonstrate robust ownership, initiative, and a solutions-focused approach to leading the overall success of the store
What You Bring 5+ years of retail management experience, with a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
Strong commercial and business acumen with the ability to analyze performance and drive sales results
Proven experience in recruiting, coaching, developing, and building strong teams and future leaders
Passion for fashion, footwear, sneakers, and lifestyle retail
Confidence in making business-critical decisions and managing multiple priorities independently
Robust analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and engage others
Proactive, goal-oriented, and highly organized with a strong sense of ownership
Experience using business data and reporting to identify trends and opportunities
Strong proficiency with G-Suite and other business systems
Comfortable working with retail technology and iOS-based programs
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak trade periods
