KLS Earthworks & Environmental is looking for a detail-oriented Estimator with civil construction experience, particularly in underground utilities, to work in Calgary. Prepare competitive estimates and ensure project scope accuracy for earthworks.

This position reports to the Senior Estimator and involves estimating for civil construction projects. You will review specifications, perform quantity takeoffs, and develop pricing models. The ideal candidate thrives under tight deadlines and has strong analytical skills to identify risks and cost-saving opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed estimates for civil construction projects
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop pricing




• Identify project risks and cost-saving opportunities
• Liaise with clients and internal teams throughout the process

Requirements:
• 3–5 years of estimating experience in civil construction
• Minimum 2 years in underground utility construction
• Solid understanding of construction methods and costs
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
