Located in Ottawa, this role offers an opportunity to connect governmental and community voices to the Institute's climate initiatives. You will help develop and execute strategies while supporting the Executive team in outreach activities that align with the organization’s research objectives. Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee engagement strategies for diverse stakeholders
• Prepare government relations materials and reports
• Foster relationships with Indigenous rights holders and industry leaders
• Monitor legislative changes and policy impacts
• Collaborate with team members on strategic outreach initiatives
Requirements:
• At least 5 years of experience in public affairs or government relations
• Bachelor's degree in related areas such as public policy
• Existing connections in the climate and energy sectors
• Outstanding bilingual communication abilities
• Strong grasp of legislative processes in Canada
