About the Role Our client is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Remote HSE Advisor to support their extensive Oil & Gas operations. This position allows for remote work, providing expert guidance on health, safety, and environmental matters across diverse project sites. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a robust safety culture. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, with a commitment to safeguarding personnel and the environment from their home base, contributing to operational excellence from Kimberley (or any remote location).
Key Responsibilities Provide technical advice and support on HSE matters to project teams and management.
Conduct virtual risk assessments and develop appropriate control measures.
Assist in the development and implementation of HSE procedures and training materials.
Monitor HSE performance metrics and prepare regular reports for review.
Support incident investigation processes and ensure follow-up actions are completed effectively.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HSE skilled, ideally within the Oil & Gas industry .
Knowledge of relevant HSE legislation and best practices.
Experience with risk assessment tools and methodologies.
Robust written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
