This role is integral to maintaining the shelter's atmosphere and administrative functions, supervised by the Shelter & Transitional Housing Manager. You'll actively engage with clients, manage inquiries, and ensure confidentiality while embracing and respecting the Anishinaabe culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure a welcoming and non-judgmental environment
• Address general inquiries and manage front desk activities
• Safeguard client confidentiality through proper management
• Keep common areas and office environments clean
• Enhance supply inventory management and reporting
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years in team support or similar roles
• Experience in Anishinaabe social service settings is beneficial
• Prior experience in customer service environments is a plus
• Valid Driver’s License and access to a vehicle
• Willingness to obtain trauma-informed care certifications
