Enhance IT operations as a Help Desk Specialist with the Children's Aid Society of SDG. Provide critical desktop support and resolve user issues in this in office, contract role.

This 6-month contract focuses on ensuring smooth computer and network operations for end users. Your hands-on support at the desktop level will include installing software, upgrading systems, and maintaining records of IT incidents. You will work closely with end users, troubleshooting and prioritizing help requests with a focus on customer satisfaction and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
• Field incoming help requests via ticket system, call, and email
• Perform hands-on fixes, including software installations and upgrades
• Document and track all support activities with in-house tracking




• Alert management of emerging incident trends and concerns
• Assist with audio/video support for conference rooms

Requirements:
• College diploma or university degree in computer science
• 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and network hardware/software
• Ability to lift and transport moderate weight devices

Support users effectively at the Children's Aid Society by leveraging your IT skills and ensuring smooth operations.
