Join Nova Scotia Power as a System Maintenance Planner in Truro/Stellarton, Nova Scotia. This full-time role focuses on developing maintenance plans and ensuring the reliability of critical equipment.
As part of the Substation Operations team, you will report to the NE System Maintenance Supervisor. Your responsibilities will include managing equipment maintenance work plans, overseeing capital equipment upgrades, and conducting site inspections. You are expected to balance resources effectively while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop long-term equipment maintenance work plans
• Manage priorities and procure required materials
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality assurance
• Write switching procedures and identify capital requests
• Provide technical support for work crews
Requirements:
• Grade XII education and Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology
• Minimum five years of relevant maintenance experience
• Valid Nova Scotia Driver's License
• Solid computer skills in maintenance scheduling
• Ability to manage a unionized workforce
