In this Registered Nurse/Psychiatric Nurse position at VCH, you’ll enhance care quality through the ReAct Adult Protection Program. Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver training programs and assess educational needs
• Mentor staff on regulatory compliance and care interventions
• Analyze data and literature for program improvements
• Facilitate direct care for individuals facing abuse
• Develop supportive care plans in complex situations
Requirements:
• Current BCCNM registration as an RN or RPN
• Five years of direct experience in adult care related to abuse
• Familiarity with legislation governing adult protection
• BC Driver's License and access to a vehicle
• Solid background in cultural safety and health assessments
Lead initiatives to address and mitigate adult protection issues while providing crucial education to your peers in health care.
