Bouchier is hiring a Mining Shovel Maintenance Lead Hand at CNRL Horizon. This position combines leadership and hands-on maintenance in a full time, 14-in/14-out schedule.
In this role, you'll be instrumental in overseeing maintenance operations for mining shovels, focusing on cleaning and safety compliance. You'll work closely with fellow operators and laborers, ensuring that work assignments align with safety standards and operational goals. Your leadership will drive performance in demanding environmental conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct on-site activities and allocate work tasks
• Monitor worker performance and conduct evaluations
• Implement safety protocols and conduct training
• Operate cleaning and maintenance equipment
• Maintain thorough documentation of operations
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License with Air Brakes
• Clean 5-year Driver Abstract upon hire
• Must have CSO and WHMIS 2015 certifications
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
• Willing to work in various weather conditions
