Insight Global is seeking a Mainframe Developer for a large financial institution's modernization initiative focused on replatforming and transforming its customer master data environment. The role will support and enhance Hogan-based core banking applications, working on mission-critical systems related to customer information, deposits, and account servicing while collaborating across business and technology teams.

Skills and Requirements

10+ years of Mainframe development experience

5+ years of hands-on Hogan development experience

Solid experience with Hogan CIS/IDS

Advanced skills in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and VSAM

Experience supporting both batch and online processing environments

Proven expertise designing, enhancing, customizing, and maintaining Hogan applications

Deep understanding of retail banking and core banking operations, including: Customer information management, Deposit processing, Account servicing and Regulatory/compliance requirements.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex Mainframe/Hogan issues

Experience working in large enterprise banking environments

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - Experience with customer master data modernization or replatforming initiatives

Exposure to application stability, performance optimization, and operational excellence programs

Previous experience working with cross-functional transformation teams

Preferably located in the GTA
