Join Kunuwanimano Child and Family Services as a Children's Services Worker, providing essential support to First Nations children and families. This full-time role focuses on delivering equitable, respectful, and culturally relevant services.
As a Children’s Services Worker, you will have the chance to establish effective relationships with a caseload of children, ensuring their diverse needs are met. Your responsibilities will include providing counseling, participating in investigations, and coordinating family access visits. This position also allows for collaboration with Family Services Workers to develop tailored care plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention to children
• Ensure compliance with Kunuwanimano values and policies
• Coordinate family access visits for children in Agency care
• Assist in developing and monitoring treatment plans
• Report incidents of abuse immediately to supervisors
Requirements:
• BSW degree or relevant Social Service Worker program
• Minimum of two years' experience in human services
• Valid “G” Ontario Driver’s license and insurance
• Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
• Ability to communicate in an Indigenous language an asset
Deliver impactful support and foster positive change in the lives of First Nations children at Kunuwanimano.
