Join EDC as a Senior Risk Analyst specializing in credit risk management. This hybrid role involves assessing buyer creditworthiness, evaluating risks, and ensuring compliance with established credit standards.
As part of the Risk Assessment & Portfolio Management team, you'll manage a portfolio of buyers while conducting detailed financial analyses and market assessments. Your expertise will be crucial in making timely recommendations and presenting credit assessments to authorizers. This position requires a solid background in credit risk management to effectively support EDC's mission of empowering Canadian enterprises globally.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct creditworthiness analysis for buyers and transactions
• Assess requests for new credit and evaluation processes
• Monitor buyer portfolios and ensure timely updates
• Prepare and present credit assessments to decision-makers
• Share industry insights with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in Finance or related field
• 5+ years in credit risk management (level 17)
• Strong knowledge of credit risk principles
• Experience in international trade beneficial
• Bilingual in English and French preferred
