We are seeking a dynamic, energetic and patient-focused Registered Nurse to provide care across the Emergency Department, Acute Care Unit and Obstetrics department. The successful candidate will work to their full scope of practice as part of a cooperative healthcare team and will cross-train between departments to build a diverse clinical skill set.
Schedule and Compensation Hours: Days, evenings and nights; 12-hour shifts, including weekends and statutory holidays.
Schedule is subject to change based on operational needs.
Hourly wage range: $41.15-$58.98.
Full time/ Part time availability
Qualifications Current registration and Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, or willingness to obtain it within six months.
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC),
Coronary Care - Level 1 and Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) certification are assets.
Recent experience in emergency, medical/surgical nursing and special care.
Demonstrated commitment to patient safety.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of and compliance with occupational health and safety requirements.
Self-directed and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Satisfactory work performance and attendance record.
