Join PSAC as a Political Communications Officer, where you will support the Regional Executive Vice-President and the National Board of Directors. This position requires a postsecondary diploma in communications or a related field, along with at least three years of relevant experience. Ideal candidates will possess strong media relations abilities and an understanding of union and social issues to effectively influence public opinion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide communications support to the Regional Executive Vice-President
• Develop and implement strategic political communication strategies
• Build relationships with media for effective messaging
• Organize member mobilization initiatives
• Produce communication materials in both English and French
Requirements:
• Bilingual (English, French) at CEFR Level B2
• Post-secondary diploma in a relevant field
• Minimum three years of related experience
• Knowledge of Canadian political systems
• Strong initiative and commitment to social justice
