Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Developer (Frontend or Fullstack) to join our team of smart and driven developers who are building real-world solutions for the construction industry. Our experiences power construction teams in the office, trailer and field, enabling them to understand and execute on projects with a level of speed, safety and predictability which was never possible in pure paper workflows.

On the Product Enablement team, we own a number of backend APIs and frontend applications within the Autodesk Forma (Autodesk Construction Cloud) Admin Console. Our frontend applications power workflows like license management, subscriptions, and entitlements for both Forma customers and internal teams across Autodesk. These experiences serve as a foundation that enables our customers to access and utilize a wide range of products within the Forma suite.

This position is to be based out of our Vancouver, Toronto or Montreal office in a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

Leading the design and delivery of frontend features across our micro-frontend platform

Translating product and design requirements into well-scoped engineering tasks with transparent estimates

Setting and raising the bar for frontend code quality and engineering best practices

Mentoring developers across experience levels

Driving frontend system design decisions that establish patterns the broader team follows

Participating in the on-call rotation to support our systems in the production environment

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in a technical field, or equivalent experience

5+ years of software development experience with a focus on frontend engineering

Deep expertise in React and TypeScript

Experience with modern frontend build tooling

Strong communication skills around technical concepts and cross-team coordination

A robust sense of ownership and a bias toward closing gaps proactively

Preferred Qualifications

Experience contributing to a shared component library or design system

Experience with an end-to-end test framework such as Playwright or Cypress

Product engineering mindset and customer empathy for real users' problems

Open-minded attitude towards tackling new and unfamiliar problems outside of your comfort zone

Willingness to travel to occasional team off-sites, conferences, and other work events (approximately 1-2+ weeks per year)

Nous recherchons un développeur logiciel senior (front-end ou full-stack) pour rejoindre notre équipe de développeurs brillants et motivés qui conçoivent des solutions concrètes pour le secteur de la construction. Nos solutions accompagnent les équipes de construction au bureau, sur les chantiers et sur le terrain, leur permettant de comprendre et de mener à bien leurs projets avec un niveau de rapidité, de sécurité et de prévisibilité qui était auparavant impossible à atteindre avec des processus purement papier.

Au sein de l’équipe Product Enablement, nous gérons plusieurs API backend et applications front-end au sein de la console d’administration d’Autodesk Forma (Autodesk Construction Cloud). Nos applications front-end prennent en charge des flux de travail tels que la gestion des licences, des abonnements et des droits d’accès, tant pour les clients Forma que pour les équipes internes d’Autodesk. Ces expériences constituent la base qui permet à nos clients d’accéder à une large gamme de produits de la suite Forma et de les utiliser.

Ce poste est basé dans l’un de nos bureaux de Vancouver, Toronto ou Montréal, dans le cadre d’un mode de travail hybride.

Responsabilités

Diriger la conception et la mise en œuvre des fonctionnalités front-end sur l’ensemble de notre plateforme micro-front-end

Traduire les exigences produit et de conception en tâches d’ingénierie bien ciblées, accompagnées d’estimations claires

Définir et relever la barre en matière de qualité du code front-end et de bonnes pratiques d’ingénierie

Accompagner les développeurs, quel que soit leur niveau d’expérience

Piloter les décisions de conception du système front-end qui établissent des modèles suivis par l’ensemble de l’équipe

Participer à la rotation des astreintes pour assurer le support de nos systèmes en environnement de production

Qualifications Minimales

Licence ou diplôme supérieur dans un domaine technique, ou expérience équivalente

Au moins 5 ans d’expérience en développement logiciel, avec une spécialisation en ingénierie front-end

Expertise approfondie de React et TypeScript

Expérience avec les outils modernes de build front-end

Solides compétences en communication autour des concepts techniques et en coordination inter-équipes

Un sens aigu des responsabilités et une volonté de combler les lacunes de manière proactive





Qualifications Souhaitées

Expérience de contribution à une bibliothèque de composants partagée ou à un système de conception

Expérience avec un framework de tests de bout en bout tel que Playwright ou Cypress

Esprit d’ingénierie produit et empathie envers les problèmes réels des utilisateurs

Ouverture d’esprit face à des problèmes nouveaux et inconnus, en dehors de votre zone de confort

Disponibilité pour voyager à l’occasion lors de réunions d’équipe hors site, de conférences et d’autres événements professionnels (environ 1 à 2 semaines ou plus par an)

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $107,000 and $157,300. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
