We are seeking a dedicated HRIS Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our HR information systems, providing crucial support that empowers our staff and optimizes our HR processes. Your expertise will directly contribute to a seamless and supportive experience for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Review current HR processes and systems, proposing enhancements for greater efficiency.

Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date process and system documentation.

Support the identification, evaluation, testing, and implementation of new or revised HR processes stemming from system updates.

Ensure the County’s Intranet content is accurate, current, and reflects the latest VIP guides and HRIS documentation.

Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, responding promptly to employee inquiries via the VIP ticketing system.

Manage the assignment of HRIS-related tickets to the appropriate team members.

Verify entitlement banks monthly to confirm accurate accruals and rule application.

Collaborate across departments to develop and integrate new HRIS features aligned with organizational needs.

Maintain robust system security through diligent management of user access and permissions.

Develop and deliver effective end-user training on HR systems and procedures.

Create and update training manuals, forms,



and relevant documents on the County’s Intranet.

Assist departments in collecting, collating, and analyzing HR data for various reporting requirements.

Support the HRIS Specialist in conducting system audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity of HR records.

Validate that all position changes in VIP are entered accurately and consistently.

Ensure employee schedules are accurately maintained and updated within the system.

Review bi-weekly exception reports to verify the precision of position changes.

Requirements & Qualifications:

College Diploma in Human Resources Management or Information Technology, or equivalent experience in HRIS.

2-5 years of direct experience with HRIS, with a preference for VIP system knowledge.

Proficiency in producing and analyzing a wide range of Human Resources management reports.

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Familiarity with employment legislation, including the Employment Standards Act and Union Collective Agreements.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic workplace.

Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

High attention to detail, coupled with strong analytical and data problem-solving capabilities.

Proven track record of managing confidential and sensitive information with the utmost professionalism.
