Contribute to the upkeep of Trʼondëk Hwëchʼin properties as a Housing Maintenance Assistant in Dawson, YT. This role involves hands-on maintenance and supporting community events on an auxiliary on-call basis.

Reporting to the Housing Maintenance Coordinator, you will perform essential tasks related to the repair and renovation of TH rental housing. Ideal for individuals with building trades experience, the role also includes the opportunity to engage in special projects that benefit community gatherings. Strong skills in plumbing, carpentry, and maintenance will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out maintenance and repair work orders
• Conduct basic renovations and repairs within housing units




• Support TH events and community activities
• Safely use various hand and power tools
• Maintain positive relationships with co-workers and the public

Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 10-12 or equivalent
• Background in general building trades
• Proven experience in repair and maintenance
• Advanced knowledge of secure work practices
• Criminal Records Check and Class 5 driver’s license
