About the Role Our client is seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented Remote Senior Financial Controller to oversee the financial reporting and accounting operations for their growing enterprise. This is a fully remote leadership position, offering the autonomy to manage financial integrity and compliance from your home office. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial statements, managing the audit process, implementing robust internal controls, and driving accounting best practices across the organization. This role requires a strong leader with exceptional technical accounting skills and the ability to manage a remote team effectively, making a significant impact on the company's financial health.
Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
Manage the external audit process, acting as the primary point of contact for auditors.
Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional growth and performance.




Ensure compliance with all applicable tax regulations and reporting requirements.
Drive process improvements and implement new accounting technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation is required.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management, with at least 3 years in a controller or senior accounting management role.
Extensive knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Proven experience managing audits and interacting with external auditors.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience managing remote teams.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
