Join Black & McDonald's growing Western Utilities team as a Journeyman Electrician in Edmonton, AB. Engage in installation and maintenance of electrical systems including temp power and streetlighting.
This role is ideal for a dedicated Journeyman Electrician with at least 4 years of experience. You’ll work directly on-site addressing various electrical tasks while collaborating with site supervisors. Your ability to read wiring diagrams and use electronic tools safely will ensure effective project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot diverse electrical challenges
• Pull and install underground and overhead wiring
• Set up and frame pole bases for installations
• Record all maintenance activities diligently
• Provide operational leadership in office
Requirements:
• Red Seal Journeyman Electrician certification
• Hands-on experience with aerial devices at heights
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Valid Alberta Driver’s License, Class 1 or 3 preferred
• Ability to comply with safety and field assignment standards
