Become a valued member of West Coast Seniors Housing Management as a Recreation Aide. This full-time temporary position allows you to create enriching experiences for seniors in your community.

The Recreation Aide works closely with the Therapeutic Recreation Manager to develop and facilitate programs that address the holistic needs of residents. Your role will involve collaborating with team members to ensure a positive environment while respecting each resident’s individual rights and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development and implementation of recreation services
• Promote and coordinate social activities, outings, and crafts
• Document and report resident feedback to supervisors
• Maintain a safe and clean setting for activities




• Support recent staff during orientation and training sessions

Requirements:
• Grade 12 education with relevant diploma preferred
• Previous experience in a senior care environment a plus
• Must hold a valid Class 4 BC Driver’s License
• Satisfactory completion of a background check required
• Ability to engage effectively with seniors and staff
