With the goal of getting things back to a pre-disaster state Multi-Skilled Tradespeople use the skills of carpenters, drywallers, painters and magicians! Making clients believe magic has happened is all part of a day for a Multi-Skilled Tradesperson.

Compensation Salary Range: $28-$32/hour

What You’ll Do Finishing work and fine details, rough and trim
Installation, doors, trim, moldings, baseboards and hardware
Repairs to wooden structures of all sorts
Drywall repairs, mudding, sanding, taping and finishing
Brush and roller painting (could include walls, ceilings, trim)
Ceiling installation, knockdown and texturing
Insulation and vapour barrier installation
Cabinetry (removal, repair, reinstallation)
Flooring installation and repairs
Framing
What You Bring 5+ years doing interior carpentry repairs/restoration/rebuild focus (flood/fire damage)
Ability to complete all rebuild needed in a single location
Leadership to guide helpers and train less experienced workers
Refined skills with various in-home renovation repairs/restoration vs recent build
Attention to detail,



passion for quality and pride in the work you do
Tools and the skills to use them
Strong people and communication skills
A safety mindset
Interest in cross training and willingness to help out all team members regardless if the job is related to carpentry duties
Tech-savvy (comfortable using apps and software to record information)
Valid drivers license
Ability to pass a criminal record check
Ability to communicate in English, both written and spoken

Of Note: Disasters can strike at any time so a rotating schedule of 24/7 after hours on-call work is a requirement. Meaning you’ll work regular weekday hours and participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule.
